We're a close-knit group of college buddies whose shared passion for computer games, programming, and 1990s nerd culture led us all down similar career paths.  Each of us has been fortunate enough to experience a lot of professional success -- working for both huge Fortune Global 500 companies, and also small West Coast Start-ups.

Though we went our separate ways after college, we have all stayed in touch and managed to meet up at least a few times a year (usually in Vegas!!).  During these visits we ALWAYS end up talking shop about the latest and greatest developments in the IT world.  Our social chats frequently evolved into professional conversations with lots of synergy.  The ideas, processes, systems, experiences we shared with one another usually led to some sort of tangible professional innovation or other successes.

The App Gym is our effort to recreate that same synergy in a virtual setting.  Why did we choose that name?  Well, we thought that a gym is a logical place where a group of like-minded people could go to improve themselves.  Ironic though because a gym is the last place you would ever find one of us!
